Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming education for visually impaired students by providing innovative tools that enhance accessibility, independence, and engagement. AI-powered technologies, such as text-to-speech systems, object recognition tools, and real-time navigation aids, support visually impaired students in accessing educational resources and participating in classroom activities. This paper explores the role of AI in assisting students with visual impairments in schools, focusing on applications, benefits, and challenges. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study evaluates the effectiveness of AI-driven solutions and identifies strategies for equitable implementation. The findings highlight AI’s potential to create inclusive learning environments and empower visually impaired students to achieve their full potential.
