Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in special education settings offers transformative benefits, including personalized learning, enhanced accessibility, and improved outcomes for students with disabilities. However, it also raises critical ethical concerns such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, inclusivity, and equitable access. This paper examines the ethical dimensions of AI use in special education, analyzing the challenges and implications for educators, students, and stakeholders. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study evaluates current practices, identifies ethical dilemmas, and proposes strategies for responsible AI deployment. The findings emphasize the need for transparency, stakeholder collaboration, and adherence to ethical guidelines to ensure that AI supports equity and inclusivity in special education.
