Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers transformative solutions to address the challenges of providing special education in rural areas. Limited access to specialized educators, resources, and facilities often hinders the delivery of equitable education for students with disabilities in these regions. AI-powered tools, including adaptive learning platforms, assistive technologies, and remote teaching solutions, bridge this gap by offering personalized, scalable, and accessible support. This paper explores the role of AI in enhancing special education in rural areas, focusing on its applications, benefits, and challenges. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study evaluates the effectiveness of AI-driven interventions and identifies strategies for sustainable implementation. The findings underscore AI's potential to foster inclusivity and improve learning outcomes for special needs students in underserved communities.
