Tailored Education: AI in the Development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Abstract
In this paper, we delve into the ways in which tools driven by artificial intelligence are helping to reduce bottlenecks in the IEP process from understanding how students learn best to measuring their progress and transforming goals. By leveraging artificial intelligence applications, like predictive analytics and adaptive learning systems; and natural language processing, capable of providing educators with actionable insights to develop individual studentled learning plans based on their strengths and weaknesses. The research also looks at the potential of AIT to enhance engagement between stakeholders, lighten administrative loads and progress disability inclusive education. The challenges, both practical like training and resource limitations as well as ethical such as data privacy and algorithmic bias are discussed explicitly. When we analyze case studies and emerging trends, then the potential of AI in transforming the capacity to better meet IEPs by both empowering educators as well as advancing equitable access to education for all learners is clear.
