Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force in special education, enabling tailored learning experiences and improved accessibility for students with diverse needs. This paper explores how AI-powered tools enhance the learning environment by addressing challenges such as personalized instruction, speech and language therapy, and assistive technologies. The study reviews existing literature to highlight the role of AI in fostering inclusion and accessibility. Using qualitative research methods, this study evaluates the effectiveness of AI applications in special education. The findings reveal that AI-driven interventions significantly enhance learning outcomes, reduce educator workload, and promote equitable access. The paper concludes with recommendations for integrating AI in special education while addressing ethical considerations.
