The Intersection of AI, Cybersecurity, and Healthcare: Challenges and Solutions
Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare has revolutionized patient care, diagnostics, and operational efficiency. However, it has also introduced significant cybersecurity challenges, including data breaches, adversarial attacks, and algorithmic bias. This paper explores the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and healthcare, identifying key challenges and proposing viable solutions. Through a comprehensive literature review and qualitative analysis, this study examines how AI can be both a risk and a remedy for cybersecurity in healthcare. The findings highlight critical vulnerabilities, evaluate the effectiveness of existing defensive strategies, and propose a multi-layered approach to safeguard sensitive healthcare systems. This research underscores the need for robust AI-driven cybersecurity frameworks to ensure the safe and ethical integration of AI into healthcare.
